Hubpages.com is another of those websites which allows users to create their own pages on subjects of their choice; simply create a free account and follow the links which lead users along the path to creating a page.

Users can use several modules to create content, but these are no where near as extensive as on Squidoo.com. Hubpages are easy to use but the focus here is on creating content that stays within Hubpages and users are not allowed to create more than 2 links to any one website from a page, meaning that it is not as useful a tool as other similar websites for promoting ones own sites and blogs, indeed ones page ranking is penalised for breaking these rules.

It is possible to use Hubpages.com to make money for oneself although the opportunities are more limited than with other similar platforms. When joining Hubpages, one can create a Google Adsense account and 50% any clicks from the adverts on ones pages go straight into the users' account.

Having built pages it is not enough to trust that people will find them but the admin of Hubpages.com hasn't created the infrastructure to allow beginners to do this easily.

Hubpages.com can be a good way to create webpages and many people swear by it. However, I prefer Squidoo.com which does the same thing but better in my opinion.
