I
began Thaibirding back in 2003 as a hobby and a way to learn a little
about web design - it is designed using Macromedia
Dreamweaver. Since its release in September 2006 it has become
more successful than I could have imagined. This website is hosted
by a friend, to whom I am very grateful, and I continue to develop
it.
Thaibirding
is updated at least once a week, and far more frequently throughout
the winter when more birdwatchers are active in Thailand. |

Thaibirding.com
has been running since September 2006 and receives between
100-200 visitors daily. It provides free information, news,
trip reports, checklists and maps on birdwatching in Thailand.
My hope
is that in the near future I can develop this website into
a bird guiding business in Thailand. |

Today I added some bird observations, including a new species
for Thailand, to the recent sightings page: Recent
Sightings .
17/10/07:
Today I added a new birdwatching site to the locations pages,
Mae Hia Agricultural College near Chiang Mai: Mae
Hia.
16/10/07:
Having used Shareapic successfully for about 1 month I added
a link to the site from thaibirding's homepage: Thaibirding.com.
